Did you ever think about cleaning it?

I think it is worth the effort to use this simple way of cleaning your machine every few weeks.

You need:
3 tablespoons of soda powder
50 ml vinegar
vinegar water or pure vinegar

First wash the detergent compartment, the drum and the edges with pure vinegar or vinegar water. Then put the soda powder in the main washing powder compartment and the 50 ml vinegar in the container for fabric softener. Be carful that that sodium bicarbonate and vinegar do not get in contact with each other, as this can lead to an undesired chemical reaction. Now start the empty washing machine using its main washing program at least 60°Celsius. I somtimes use 90°C.

Good to know:
Vinegar and sodium bicarbonate are disinfecting the container for the laundry and at the same time kill spores, viruses and germs.

Additionally I sometimes run the 90°C washing program without any additives for 15 to 20 minutes, this has a cleansing effect too.

After each cleaning process, leave the detergent compartment and the cloth filling lid open in order that the machine can air dry completely.

The laundry machine is an integral part of today’s everyday life. We all use it very often.
